Welcome to K A R N O V A, a world where imagination runs free - literally!
When mankind was blessed with the magic of imagination, he was granted the ability to travel to places and discover creatures never before seen. With it came his greatest dreams and utmost horrors, his fantasies and his wishes. As adults, man realized there was a separation between dreams and realities. As teens and young adults, humans wished their imaginations could come to life, that their wonders would be real. And as children, they believed their imagination was a reality.
If only they had known how right they were! When the blessing of imagination was given, it was impossible to contain so much creativity within a single person's mind. An entirely new land was created, hidden within the shadows and crevices of reality. Children were able to find the gateways to this world because they hadn't yet learned of the responsibilities and hardships of life. Because their minds were free, they could still accept the absurdities of this hidden world. But as they all grew, they slowly forgot about this fantasy world that was so close yet so far.
In the beginnings of this world, there was no order, as one person's imagination is vastly different from another's. That was merely chaotic, however, and eventually the world began to settle into a rhythm. A permanent landscape formed so that the land was no longer shifting, and spirits were born to watch over the different terrains. Creatures from each mindset were collected and scattered across the world. The planet swelled to a massive size to accommodate the millions - no, trillions of beings that inhabited the land. And when the world had finally cooled from its transformation and had been populated by the imaginations of mankind, it was given a name: Karnova.

The packs have been living in fair peace through out the years. Quite nice, the peace has been. The five packs (Lunar Moon Pack, Haven Forest, Amazon, Fog Valley, and Twisted Desires) are friendly to each other. Maybe the reason is because they didn't often come near each other. But, this time, this year, this month, who knows, maybe even today, that will all change. Fights are starting to break out outside of packs... and inside of packs. Its getting deadlier and deadlier for parents or soon to be parents to have or raise pups. Wolves are dying, and its all because of some lousy wolves who are lazy, and won't hunt on their territory or such. All the wolves agree, surprisingly, that they should punish the wolves who do so. But, leaders haven't been enforcing it. Actually, they’ve been the ones saying for the wolves to do it!
Will you venture into modern Russia, and join a pack? Or, would you be a loner? Live the life as a wolf, or dog, or something along the Canis line. Hunt, mate, enjoy life, hate life, its all here in Wolves of the Woods. Live or die. Yep, that’s the code.

What our site has to offer?
Staff positions still open. Lands left for claiming. Royal spots still open. It's an new active rpg. More than just a light, neutral and dark rpg. Posts should at least be 150 words. There is something to do for everyone. Even if you do not post as much as someone else. Good layout.

When a scientist began research on wolves by releasing them on a vast, lush island, and died only weeks after, the wolves started to form a rather unusual style of community. Their ways were nearly exactly the same as the humans' long-past medieval times.
The wolves formed three unique villages, their kingdoms living within three ancient castles.
However, the kingdoms only invite the strongest, fastest, and smartest wolves into knighthood and the villagers aren't happy. The kingdoms' forces are deteriorating. Will the kingdoms allow weaker wolves? Or will they crumble?
To make things worse, normal packs of wolves are forming and they are against the ways of the three medieval villages. Many of them are planning an attack. With weakened armies, will the villages stand any chance?
Ever since the rise of the three kingdoms, there has been constant rivalry between them. Every kingdom had heard news of attack from both sides, the other villages.
With danger arising from two completely different sources, how can any wolf survive? Can the kingdoms solve their difficulties, or will it all end in blood and death?
Identity is a unique role-play involving shape-shifters. The character you create has both a human and an animal side, as well as the ability to use limited magic. Come join us in the search for the heart of this power: elemental stones.
{IDENTITY} Ages ago, long before anyone’s memory, a cataclysm shook the earth and destroyed whole civilizations. But something was born in the cataclysm. Something dark and unseen but terrifyingly beautiful. It created five stones: one for each of the elements. Each stone controlled the powers of the element imbedded within it. The stones built new civilizations and started new wars. But each time the power of the stones was invoked, something changed within the very nature of existence itself. Eventually, two of the stones were lost—or destroyed. Only one remains.
By the power of the stones, humanity has been altered. True humans no longer exist. The stones combined their magic with human and animal to create a composite of the three. Any animal can actually be a shape-shifter…And anyone who looks human also has an animal counterpart.
But some shape-shifters know there are not five, but seven elements. In the legend of the stones, only five exist, so what happened to the other two elements? And if all five stones were collected and brought together, would the earth be healed…or destroyed? Because a few believe that the force that created the stones was pure evil, looking for a way to manifest itself.
